For orders destined to the U.S., we change the shipping fee policy to "flat rate charge and refund the balance" to dispatch orders by EMS or UPS.
Recently Japan Post announced that they resume to accept packages destined to the U.S. which the amount over $100, however prepay of the import tax that the U.S. customs charged is required before shipping out.
We determined that we can't dispatch the packages include $100 or more contents by EMS since it's too complicated to declare the item details using to product codes unique to the U.S. and there are risks of additional charges or forced to package return.
Thus we decided to continue to use UPS to shipping out over $100.
Since the shipping fee calculate tables are different between EMS and UPS, we decided to charge the shipping fee policy.
We charge a flat shipping fee (11950 JPY) that expected larger packages once and will refund the balance between the actual shipping cost after the shipping method fixed.
The estimated shipping way and costs are follows:
$100(≒15000 JPY) or less amount: EMS (https://www.post.japanpost.jp/send/oversea/charge/list-ems/zone4_en.html)
over $100 amount: UPS
-1 blouse / multiple small items like headdress, socks or accessories : 3700 JPY
-1 basic dress : 6300 JPY
-1 bulky dress / 2 or more dresses / boater or silk hats / bags / soled shoes or boots : 11950 JPY
